THE USE OF FILL INS

  • Unregistered players participating in a game  in the Basketball Innovations Competition are considered to be fill ins.
  • By participating in a Basketball Innovations game, a fill in has agreed to comply with the Players Code of Conduct and Competition By-Laws.
  • Fill ins may be used so a team can avoid a forfeit or occasionally for a team or player to try out who has never previously played in the competition.
  • Fill ins can come from other teams within and from outside the competition.
  • Some people are not permitted to be used as fill ins for safety, insurance, financial and work-safe reasons. A list of de-registered  and illegal players is posted on the notice board at the entrance of the courts and in  the green scoresheet files.
  • All fill in players MUST be approved by the Competition Administrator or Court Manager PRIOR to representing a team in a game.
