ELIGIBILITY OF TEAMS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE FINALS SERIES

As we are a social competition all teams are eligible to contest the finals series no matter what position the team is placed on the premiership ladder and provided they were fully financial as of 7 pm on Saturday 29 November 2025 and provided they have not been penalised more than 12 penalty points.

The semi-finals will be played on 6 December 2025

The grand finals will be played on 13 December 2025

FINALS ELIGIBILITY – PLAYERS

Only players who are registered as indicated by having their name printed on the scoresheet are permitted to play finals games.

Fill in players are not permitted.

Players are requested to bring some for of personal Photo ID with them to the game. This is to be shown to Basketball Innovations Staff should it be necessary to identify players. Players without proof of ID may be excluded from finals games.

FINALS INFORMATION – SCORING

Teams are responsible for scoring games.

Scoresheets, not the electronic scoreboard show the official game score.

Game scorers are to sit at the score bench and be actively involved in the scoring process.

Should an issue arise with the scoring, it is the game scorers sitting at the score bench who are to attempt to resolve the issue. Should this not be possible then the umpires are to be involved along with the scorers to achieve a resolution. Any decision made by the umpires in this situation is final.

Players, coaches, team managers and spectators are not to be involved in resolving a scoring dispute unless specifically asked to do so by the umpires.
