HOW CAN YOU HELP US GET YOUR GAME STARTED ON TIME

Basketball Innovations has put in place procedures concerning scoresheets, referees and game times to ensure the competition can run smoothly.

Players and teams can also do their bit to assist us.

1. Arrive at Craigie Leisure Centre and be ready to play at least 10 minutes prior to the advertised starting time.

2. Make sure your team game fee is paid beforehand and confirmed with the game fees clerk.

3. Complete the game scoresheets in 10 minutes prior to the advertised starting time. There are two clipboard files on the score bench one aqua and the other green. The green file is for the game that is currently in progress. The aqua clipboard is for the next game. All registered players’ names are printed on the game scoresheet. All they need to do is write their uniform number on the scoresheet in the aqua file. If you are not a registered player you will be required to print your first and last name clearly on the scoresheet BEFORE you can enter the game. Please take care not to distract the scorers of the game that is in progress while you do this.

4. Make sure any unregistered players your team intend to use have been approved by the Court Manager to play.

5. Arrange for a suitable person to score for your team. This person should be seated at the score-bench ready to score when the game clock starts.

6. Go to the middle of the court and be ready for the tip off before the game clock starts
