FINALS INFORMATION – PLAYERS AND TEAM REPRESENTATIVES PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

SCORING

  • Teams are responsible for scoring games.
  • Scoresheets, not the electronic scoreboard show the official game score.
  • It is recommended each team provide a non-playing competent scorer.
  • Game scorers are to sit at the score bench and be actively involved in the scoring process.
  • Should an issue arise with the scoring, it is the scorers sitting at the score bench who are to attempt to resolve the issue. Should this not be possible, then the umpires are to be involved along with the scorers to achieve a resolution. Any decision made by the umpires in this situation is final.
  • Players, coaches, team managers and spectators are not to be involved in resolving a scoring dispute unless asked to do so by the umpires.

PLAYER ELIGIBILITY

  • Only players who are registered as indicated by having their name printed on the scoresheet are permitted to play finals.
  • Fill in players are not permitted
  • Players are requested to bring some form of personal ID with them to the game. This is to be shown to Basketball Innovations Staff should it be necessary to identify players.  Players without proof of ID may be excluded from finals games.
