GOVERNMENT REQUIREMENTS TO PLAY BASKETBALL AT CRAIGIE LEISURE CENTRE

The WA State Government has issued mandates about playing basketball at indoor centres in WA. The current health mandate includes the usual things such as washing hands, social distancing etc The important changes for indoor community basketball competitions such as Basketball Innovations and recreation centres can be summarised as follows:…..1. No proof of vaccination certificates need to be shown to enter the Craigie Leisure Centre Courts and to umpire, play or just spectate. Some parts of Craigie Leisure Centre do require these certificates to be shown. (See the Craigie Leisure Centre Website for details)……2. Anyone entering Craigie Leisure Centre is required to wear a mask except when you are on court playing the game or umpiring a game. This also means players who are sitting on the bench and scorers……..3. As there are limitations on the number of people who can be at the Craigie Leisure Centre courts, we ask that non-essential spectators not attend at this time. We also request that players do not arrive early or hang around after their games. ……….We thank all patrons for your cooperation on these matters.
